Hi yes, its 1020 hard axle, chassis, stubs are straight and tracking all set by D T in totton. engine is an average t1 sp just rebuilt by prokart. kart has 1 raceweekend old tyres.
when he did his arcs test he was putting in 42.8 laps at clay. but last few visits he has stuggled to get into the 43's he was turning in to early which had been corrected now i think. but he was running a 20 72 set up when he raced. when we practised 2 weeks ago at clay i ran him on a 20 74 but still did not make much difference. low rev are 3,700 ish and high 5900 - 6000 on the 20 74 setup in hot weather. my query is what spacing should i have on the stubs ie spacers and washer on top & bottom ? or am i trying to hard and just need to wait for the driver to improve ? but as he was doing 42.8 before in april i feel it might be the way the kart is set. thanks for help guys.
