Over the weekend I removed the old throttle cables on our prokart (they were going under the seat & looping round into the back of the engine) I put the quick release kits on the engines & then set about putting the new cables on in the more conventional side entry configuration. I haven’t attached the other end to the pedals yet though as my presence was required at a party.

Should there be something to hold the end of the outer cable in place where it sits in the aligner or will it hold itself in place once ive cable-tied the outer cable to the chassis?
