Ive used mikuni and dellorto carbs and the main jet is usually 130 in both and idle jet 17.5 in the mikuni . the standard front exhaust pipe is quite restrictive and most runners have made their own larger bore design ,the standard is fine on the tighter twisty circuits but the larger bore lets the engine rev more freely on tracks like lydd and clay pigeon. chris hollywood can get the starter gears made in the uk.the engine ring gear is still available from holland although the ones they now supply dont last like the genuine ones. i have managed to re weld the worn teeth and grind and file back to shape as its only the the teeth when the engine is at tdc on compression that take the brunt of the wear .
