we moved from P1 to Shark in late 2012 (same as BRK) - my son found it to be a lot smoother across the kerbs than the p1 and generally described as a lot better to drive. The setup is pretty straightforward although it can sometimes be a pain in the wet but thats probably more down to my setup skills than the chassis.
He did try a 13 P1 recently and didn't like it, feedback was it was too heavy and not as responsive. Thats just his personal feedback of course and probably because he's used to the Shark.
