I have just purchased a honda cadet which my son doesnt know about. I'm trying to set it up for him for xmas.

Yesterday we went along to a race at our local track. This has now raised a few questions.

My boy is 4'8" tall with a 24" waist and weighs 30kg. I have looked into tillet seat sizing and sought advice on this before. I thought the T8 extra small seat we have would be ok. Now having spoken to people to see smaller children in bigger seats I'm having second thoughts. Is our seat ok for him or should it be bigger.It has 1/4 padding.

I believe our chassis is a 2008 project 1. Of all the others I saw our side pods seem a different shape being more square. Are they different for different chassis years. Would a rounded one be better in any way. They look slightly more aerodynamic. Can the fixings be changed to enable fitting if different pods? My pod fixings arms are loose. Is this recommend ti give more flexibility?

Finally im replacing the fuel pick up pipe which perished. It has a metal pick up on the end. Where should this sit? Does it just touch the bottom of the tank or should it be longer? Or it probably makes no difference at all!
