D.I.Y., remind me of the last case that went to court or even BEGAN the process of going to court and settled the matter on the court-room steps between a kart 'team' and a 'tuner' about their quoted BHP values..... I don't think that case made the papers I read!

Let's assume you are the 'team': how would you PROVE that the engine did NOT produce the quoted figures on THAT day and in THOSE conditions that your 'tuner' used?

It's would be a fun case to watch!

Even without such subtleties, it is 'illegal' to tune some motors by some 'naughty' techniques..... has that stopped all tuners from doing so? Has TKM not been recently 'dogged' by such an engine 'tuner'? Clearly, some tuners don't care about the 'rules': why would they become 'squeaky clean' about being 'accurate' with the BHP figures?

Come on guys: this is called the 'Socratic Method'. I've put forward a series of questions which invite you to give answers that prove that I am wrong. Give satisfactory answers and you'll be right. If not.....

Socrates (if he existed at all) asked such questions to get you to see a point: he expected the real answers to become clear to you while you thought up an answer. I simply ADORE that technique!
