Tal-ko released this a while back:

http://www.tal-ko.com/getting-the-best-from-your-tyres

For the Maxxis new age green slicks, the article states an optimum range of 80-90 degrees Celsius.

I've never taken a kart tyre temperature but I would guess that the YDS is likely to be in a similar range.

I have noted a kart tyre temperature data logger for sale and read their blog on weaving during a warm up lap which got the tyres to around 40 degrees for prokart endurance tyres. They still have some way to go after that to be working well. http://www.kc-t.biz/blog/
