Calling out to the masses here for a bit of technical help. I've recently fired up the old trusty GX160 and it's been a little difficult to start accompanied by some pops from the air box/filter area.
Once it's started it's reasonably ok but under heavy acceleration there's some hesitancy, accompanied by a few pops from the exhaust and the odd puff of smoke. I've cleaned the carb and changed the plug. Before I go and change the pulse pump, any other ideas? It's fine once it's up "on legs"...
