Thanks all for the help, unfortunately the problem still exists despite cleaning the idle jet, changing the plug and cleaning the carb. Any other bits I should be looking at, or given that I've been pumping fuel through, take it all apart, clean like hell and try again? It definitely sounds like fuel starvation at low revs...

(I take it by the O Ring that you mean the one in the bowl? Or do you mean another one?)
