Has anyone else had a problem fitting the plug in a GX160. It seems difficult to get it in straight which has led to mine cross threading. It seems better to get to it by taking the exhaust off.

So now I can't get it back in fully. It will thread most of the way on the newly made cross thread but I dare not tighten it in fully in case I ruin it completely.

Has anyone found this and can anyone offer any advice other than re threading the head?
