Those of you 'In the know' will be aware that the overriding factor in Cadet engine performance is the special coil used by the 'front runners'. Up to now these coils have proved to be scrutineer proof but 'Kevin Nockolds' and his team are now 'on the job' and the Supercoils will be mandatory in the next version V12 ( roll on V16 supercharged!) of the Honda tech.regs. To ensure consistency the coils will be available from one source ( to be named) at the very reasonable price of
Ł250 + vat in line with the 'Budget engine class ' designation. Testing has shown these units to be somewhat less reliable than the standard unit so a spare together with familiarity with the procedure for a rapid changeover, is strongly recommended. This will ensure the level playing field we all want. Don't we??
