As above but you can buy internal and external cable sets off eBay for cheap enough and there the same, there is a black throttle stop on the engine, make sure it's opening fully and hitting the stop so the engine is getting max revs

Then adjust your cables and run them so the throttle pedals is in sync for both engines, use some rubber around the curves at the pedal just to help with any ware to the cables.
