I'm impressed with all the tech talk but it's all irrelevant. No engine tuners are interested in accuracy just bs figures, the clue is big and bold on the side of every Honda engine 5.5hp. Even with all the machining to the block and HEAD Roger carries out is not going to give a 35% gain.7.1+ mean is just the latest fantasy figure which is what I thought was the original question. Knighty is spot on with he's comment on lap records, the only time a record is broken is when there has has been changes to the track. With the dep exhaust dropping the power by 0.2 - 0.3hp means that the hp figures have increased by nearly 1.5hp in two years
