Think you have to hope that the problem is in the clutch. Held on with 5/16 inch unf setscrew and driven with a 3/16? inch square key.
You may need to impact the setscrew then the clutch slides off. Look for damage to key and keyways. The wf engines were fitted with a Titan clutch from Noram with screw on sprockets at 16 or 17t but any 3/4 inch bore prokart style clutch around same teeth would be ok for playing. Probably easier to take the engine off, then run it without clutch to ensure engine is ok.
