Shame that bambino has got this way. When my son was doing it, it just seemed like a fun introduction to karting (for both of us). What I noticed was that at 6 or 7 years old, he didn't really fully understand what was going on in a time trail so spending a lot of money on it wouldn't have made any difference on his enjoyment of it. He got a medal after each event regardless!
