Two things can happen to the plastic idle jet

1) push a 0.3mm pin through the end to ensure the hole is not blocked.....be warned any bigger than 0.35mm and you will make it illegal for msa racing.

2) when the O-ring around the end of the idle jet hardens with time, it leaks, causing your symptoms......you can get new idle jet o-rings from ebay.
