Judging from the latest 09 gold book the MSA don`t recognise `Junior prokart` any longer.
It used to be along the lines as you have suggested, but the engines were 2x gx160`s with 3 head gaskets fitted to limit power and speed.
Ireland is running a junior class this year with 165kg and engines the same spec for senior.
Should be some quick lap times seen.
The drivers and parents opted for this instead of going into minimax purely down to running costs, and of course they just used the engines from Cadet.
