I'd imagine Jeff would be very unhappy to hear rumours that his engines are dodgy! I guessed what had happened down at Lydd - I wouldn't want my decent engines played with for the sake of a one-off appearance in a championship I have no interest in, especially when I would be relying on those very same engines to win a championship I am interested in!!
I can fully understand your decision as it cost bucks to have your engines re-done after being stripped.......
