hi murray 20 71 it the right size gearing for rye if u r planning to enter the pro kart races as we run a fixed gearing of 71 ..good luk with testing a good lap time is between 42.30 to 43.00 but dose depend on track and weather top teams do get in to the 41s greg lg-racing
