Brian,

many thanks for the info, we have a genuine Honda pulse pump, is this likely to need the 'T'?
The pump is a Mikuni and has what appears to be a pressure relief 'thing' which looks like a load of brass balls all compressed together; when you blow into it and depending on how hard you blow, some air escapes through it - is this likely to affect its performance?
