My 11 year old has a fair amount of mechanical sympathy for his age but I have banned him from the buzz gun because it is very difficult not to overtighten and break things. It took me years as a teenager to work out how much force to use on cheese head motorcyle engine bolts. I rarely over or undertighten a bolt now, so with the buzz gun I always spin till one click and then check with a spanner by hand, if time. Borrow a torque wrench and practice what the right amount feels like if you need to.
Go to any tyre changing depo and you will see the fitters doing the same on wheel nuts, which are always finished off by hand.
