Was the woodruf key the type with half its top corner cut away to allow the flywheel to be located further round , also was there extra on the keyway to make up the difference for the cut away piece on the opposite corner that had been cut away , so it looks like a zig-zag ?
If not then this may be why the flywheel has a lot of movement as the size of the keyway should be equal to that of the groove in the flywheel .
Many a match stick have been inserted to make up the gap !!! Not recommended though .
