it sounds like a k spec. have a look at http://www.gx160parts.co.uk/honda_eng_history.htm it will tell you what engine yours is.

the latest engine is the honda gx160 ut1 g4

these are fastish out the box but if you want to be competative best get it tuned by an engine tuner. ufo,rpm,ble ect. as you can get a new one tuned for about Ł450 depending on who you buy it from.
