I have been run tkm 4's for about 7 years and it is a great class you can run on a budget and still be on the pace. Adam my son has race in Jnr for 4 years and this year when up to seniors at 15 and won super one and the last rebuild we had was 18 mouth ago, the clutch is some thing to keep an eye on but that is it really and change the oil after every meeting 250ml.
S1 is good and very close racing and even though karting is never cheep I bet it is the most economical class in S1 and there is also F6 .
