hi,

I am fairly new to prokart racing and am trying to ensure my old kart is sufficiently reliable for endurance racing. I have recently had an issue with one of my pulse pumps which was resolved with a track side bodge of cleaning the insides and smearing sealant around the parts before rebuilding.

My friend who races Rotax karts says his pumps are rebuilt very often with available Mikuni rebuild kits and that I should do the same for all my pumps. The trouble is that I cannot find such rebuild kits for the honda pumps. Are these kits available, or is this generally not neccessay for the GX160 pulse pumps?
