i race in f6 open class on the same grid as the TKM4s ive always thought they were very reliable,
but this rebuild problem seems to be the nail in the coffin for all the performance four stroke sealed engines .
the ecomotos that we race went the same way ,but now we rebuild ourselves,and have sourced parts from abroad .we will be at lydd on saturday with the TKM4S ,so if you fancy a fast fourstroke come for a chat. i rebuild these engines for free as a hobby, and a conrod and main bearings will do 2 years racing and cost about Ł200.00,pistons and clutches last about 5 years .the rest of the engines go forever.
