If it won`t idle its the black pilot jet, if it has no power on full throttle its the main jet, leave the pilot jet alone unless you have a new one ready as the very small `o` ring on it will need replacing if it gets disturbed.
Clean out the float bowl and main jet regulary, even with a filter, debris finds its way in there.
Popping nd banging if a wet day will be moisture around the plug and cap, duck oil not WD will cure.
