dont get too hung up on poundage... it's all about how easily your engine will rev after the upgrade.

Remember what you are trying to do... close the valve quickly without damaging the seat and without slowing the engine down(too heavy a spring slows revs).

If you upgrade and then check revs throughout the lap and your laptimes are at least as good as before the upgrade then you are on the right track of keeping the seal for longer.
