That's strange because unless there is a new workshop manual out, Honda specify a 3 angle cut (60/45/30(or 32)) for retaining seat width(to between 08.mm & 2mm, I think), it wouldn't in theory be possible to do as the Honda manual says with just 2 cuts. However, depending on interpretation this was already legal in the regs. Good that it is being clarified though.
