if it's fuel then pulling the spark plugs may well show which side is weak/white.
Float height can cause weak mixture. So can blocked jets and bent needles...

If it is an electrical fault then coils connections and, plugs and plug leads can all cause misfires.

Does the dash show any clues? Intermittent rev trace or missing revs?

Fitting a second rev counter or a pair of strobes can show up faults during a run.

Go for basics first of: new plugs, checking all electrical connections and then move to fuel checks.
