Hi mate thanks alot, I came to the same conclusion last night and bit the bullet and bought a complete new calliper and a repair kit. So plan is to fit a new one to the kart this week as we are racing next week end. Then I will rebuild the old one and keep it as a spare. I know it's the more costly way of doing it but with my limited knowledge I think it's the safest. Thanks for your offer I may take you up on the assistance if I don't get it done.
Funny enough I checked the regs this morning and see that you are ok to repair the thread now so at least you can get that sorted.
Catch you later
Andy
