I never normally bothered as most of the diference will be found in kart set up for oversteer and understeer.

However, i believe that if you are going to change the gearing, you take teeth off, from 70 to say 68. IMO this is because more teeth mean more corner speed as is easier to pull for the engine, so that would mean in the wet you would get more wheel spin. If there is less teeth it is harder to pull so there will be less wheel spin.

But i am no expert, as itpro likes to point out ;) That is just my experience! Would also love to know what everyone else thinks!
