zero end float and no washer= a needle roller bearing that climbs the radius and destroys itself.

solution: fit a snug fitting washer to the crankshaft, that spreads the load and allows for a minimal clearance fit and no slogger.

A major cause of keyway damage is incorrect fitting keys.
Keys should drive on the sides only.

Reduce the height of the key so it has clearance and the key will be correct.

Use marking blue when fitting the key and file to fit.
