sorry, maybe misleading you about sprockets. We used std sprockets cut once and twisted.

The balance pipe is needed but has to have the hole for normalising the air pressure.

best tip for Biland chains ... use a cush hub, smallest back sprocket you can find and buy Panther Chains.
