What tosh. For a consistant driver 0.1 hp equals about a tenth, plus or minus a bit, depending on the track. So between SP engines, SSP engines and even SSSP engines the difference might come down to getting a good tow. But of course that's assuming everyone has an SP engine, which is a bit like expecting everyone to have a winning lottery ticket! or is it?

Engine tuners want it both ways depending on who is listening. If you are buying an engine then the difference is enormous. If there is talk of actually making the playing field level then there's hardly any. Funny that isn't it?
