I don't race myself however I've spent the last 6 months preparing for the 2013 season :) it'll be my first race ever in April in senior open, I've got a zipkart evo biland :)

I was at the last race at buckmore in September and there was 1 tech f1, the rest were ecos :) from what I remember there was talk of about 12 or so drivers this season using various engines the majority being ecos. the swiss is a fast engine but it's reliability is still questionable. the ecos seem to do season upon season without issue. the rules for 2013 are yet to be put online but last year it was 75kg driver weight with gear. that was it. kart could be any weight you wanted. tyres are open, not sure whether tyre softener is allowed however as it is still MSA. Engine tuning is allowed although you have to stay at 30hp or less. everything else is free. the class is awesome and it's only taken me so long as the initial outlay was too expensive for me until this year when I found a job and saved enough :) find the f6 page on facebook and you'll get all the answers you want from people who run the ecos :) main reason I got the biland really was just the noise... it's just plain savage, the 300hour rebuild time is good too haha If the cambelt doesn't snap however....

Thanks, Thomas.........
