When my lad pulls out of the pits there is a crunching noise coming from the clutch until he picks up in revs and the clutch is engaged. Also I'm having to keep the tick over lower than other karts I have noticed on the grid, approx 1500 rpm to stop it pulling away.

I was told to replace the springs which I was about to do when I was told by someone else that it sounds as though the clutch is in the wrong way round.

Can some one point me in the right direction of a picture or a description of what it should look like when fitted. The clutch is located on the outside of the kart (engine is on the drivers left hand side)

Cheers for any help
