Have you had it started before you stripped the engine?
Does the engine have “oil alert”?
To make sure there is no wiring problem remove the cover over the fan & pull the small wire of the coil pack. If it starts you will have to stop it by pulling off the spark plug cap.
The gap between the coil pack & the flywheel is the thickness of a business card, slot one in between the coil & the magnet, tighten down the coil & pull out the card.
As I said before it is worth changing the coil pack.
