The magnet is bonded into the plastic surround, the surround is bonded to the flywheel casting and a 5?mm countersunk screw passes through magnet and surround and helps hold it all together. There are probably 20 different clones around. Loncin, Lifan, Villiers! Blue, Yellow, etc. all with interchangeable flywheels with the manufacturers own casting number.
I am not clear why you should think your flywheels are not genuine Honda if the engines were bought new from a reputable source. Do you have facilities for measuring ignition timing in degrees btdc?
