the service costs prob' include new pistons, new bleed nipples and any o ring between caliper halves.

any marks on the pistons will cause you problems, eventually.

poor pistons will damage the new seals

as for the mixed fluid issue...
your old fluid will be bled off during the bleeding process so no problems there. (the seals and o rings can be affected by the dot number/type of fluid, hence matching fluid to seals fitted)
