BR 30 break in oil is good and after a full rebuild it needs changing very regularly and you really need to spend a day 10 min sessions and just gradually building the revs up slowly through the day. The only problem u have is it's boring and frustrating for your son as he just wants to go fast. But u need to take it slowly slowly for that first day. It will pay dividends in the long run. Take it to either jeff or Richard or dartford karting get them to check it
