I think the Rye series is aimed more at younger drivers who are in the range of 7-9 years old, who do not yet have their ARKS licence, who have just stepped up from bambinos.....doing a full MSA race day with a very young driver is quite daunting in the early days as I found out!....the rye circuit and in particular their own in-house honda-clubman championship has generated some of the best cadet kart drivers currently in UK karting.
