The O-ring i refer to is the one on the plastic idle jet.....it can perish, causing the engine to run like a dog.....also agree with jeff sounds like you could have a small bit of grit stuck in in the main jet.....also instead of a needle use the wire bristle from a heavy wire brush, works for me!
