Look on that auction site for "Dunlop KT3 wets" there are usually loads of used ones for sale on there and sometimes you can get them already fitted to a set of wet rims.
Wet rims are different to dry rims as they have an offset which make the front wheels as wide as possible on the front when its really wet. Off set rims can be anything from 5mm to 20mm! 20mm which is refered to as Super offset....But you can achieve the same thing by using more wheel spacers to widen the track of your kart.

Dont forget to buy some waterproofs and wet boots and gloves...Ive seen kids in tears from cold hands and feet....so get some wet weather gear!
There are some really good cycle gloves on that auction site made by a firm called TENN ....Get some they are cheaper than karting gloves :-)
