Please ignore the link above, its wrong, hard to believe the manufacturers website is wrong, but it is (:-/......the standard "soft" setting that the majority of people use on hondas is as per this image in the link below

it should start to engage at about 2000, and be fully engaged by 2500.

are you sure its a genuine magnum/premier clutch, or a cheap copy from ebay?.......I had this exact problem with a cheap copy and it just would not bite, no matter how hard we tried to bed it in, it ruined a weekends racing and we were about 1 sec off the pace......genuine magnum every time
