I'm told in the wet the red springs bite a bit too hard too early and unsettle the kart in the wet.....if your doing standing starts an early engagement speed is not good.

Give this a try.... put some bathroom scales vertical against the wall, then drive the kart up against it with each spring type......which ever is the highest load on the scales is what you want to run. People have been using this technique in the US karting scene for over 30 years+
