As I've said below... Lewis Hamilton is a fantastic driver, you need look no further than his performance at Silverstone this year to see evidence of that.
However, Sebastian Vettel's drive over the Monza weekend was possibly the greatest performance over a single event in the history of the sport. It was a stupendous achievement by the youngest ever pole position sitter and race winner, in extremely difficult conditions, driving a car that had never won a race before and for a team that have been perenial back markers since 1985.
Nobody is taking anything away from Lewis by saying that on that weekend Vettel's pole position and lights-to-flag victory was little short of incredible.
