The minute I saw that thing it was pretty obvious that it wouldn't be able to do anything other than go in a straight line. It is vastly inferior to a Formula E machine. They have phenomenal power to weight ratio and can accelerate, brake and corner incredibly well. I think it was Irish Superkarter John Buggy that sheared the back axle of his kart off the start line when he let the clutch out and the sticky tyres they used at the time were welded to the track.

People who waste time on jet karts and or things like this demonstrate a base level of stupidity on the concepts of power/weight - as Ian says, its like putting a truck or a train engine into a car. I've 100 times more respect for the guys behind things like the AIXRO.
