I'm not sure Jenson's going cheap. IIRC he's on a very significant retainer from Honda. I would imagine Heikki's on a lot less. I spent some time at Silverstone with Heikki a few years ago when he was testing with Renault and he is devastatingly quick. He's also a really nice guy too. I appreciate he's a little fragile mentally, but I'm sure that in time he'll get better. If I were Ron I'd have Heikki rather than Jenson in that second seat as there are very few, if any at all, on that grid that could hold a candle to Lewis in the second McLaren.
