Both Glock and Trulli set approximately the same laptimes. Both were the only two drivers to stay on slicks. For Glock, it actually resulted in him gaining one position. If he wished to gift Hamilton the title, all he had to do was pit for inters and he'd have gained nothing at all, leaving Hamilton out in front. Instead, he took a risk and it paid off.
